Hildegard Shutler, age 95, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head" … and keep fallin' and fallin'.  This barn owl wishes the April showers would let up just for a few days. She's been biding her time for more than a month, waiting to be released back to the wild. If the rain doesn't stop soon, she may need to hitch a ride with Noah.

Passed away at home in Morgan Hill at the age of 84. She was born in San Juan Bautista, CA and grew up in Tres Pinos. She has lived in Morgan Hill for 42 years. She worked as a cook at South Valley Hospital in Gilroy until she was 75 years old. Her family was the biggest interest in her life.

John Pershing Skinner was born June 3, 1919 in Nampa, Idaho. He died after suffering with Parkinson's disease on July 16, 2008, surrounded by his family. John is survived by his wife, Helen and their two children, Margaret of Oakland and John Jr. of Palo Alto. He was the proud grandfather of three grandchildren: Kailyn McCord, Nathaniel Skinner and John McCord.
