CHS student injured after prank video stunt gone wrong

A Christopher High School student sustained a serious head injury and hasn’t returned to school after two other CHS students allegedly rolled him off a roof in a garbage can as part of a goofy video that was meant to simulate footage they found online, according to several reports from concerned parents.

Candle causes portion of homeless encampment to burn down

Two City of Gilroy Fire Department engines responded to a fire that was started by a burning candle at approximately 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The story of Tucker

Tucker came from the San Martin shelter eight years ago. They called to let us know they had a beautiful yellow Labrador who needed to be adopted. We had just lost our three-legged dalmatian, Carly the tripod, and had room for one more. Tucker was a bit of a nervous, fearful dog in the beginning. However with lots of love and attention, he settled in and was very content with his new housemates … Archie, Maisy and our three cats.
