Pit bull owner will not be prosecuted
The owner of the pit bull in the July attack that killed a dachshund will not be criminally prosecuted, according to Steve Lowney, the deputy district attorney handling the case.Â

Eastbound Highway 152 is getting wider
Stage two will widen westbound lanes and complete the bridge. Landscaping, striping, installing traffic signals and building a new entrance to Gilroy Foods will complete stage three. Once completed, the highway will feature four lanes with a traffic signal at the entrance of Gilroy Foods. The project is currently on schedule and is expected to be complete in April 2006.
