Christopher High’s girls soccer team saw its season end in heartbreaking fashion Wednesday, as the Cougars suffered a 1-0 loss at undefeated Del Mar in the first round of the Central Coast Section Division II playoffs.

Morgan Hill Police arrested a 16-year-old Morgan Hill resident on W. Main Avenue after he dropped a stolen handgun during a foot pursuit on Friday afternoon.

Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Johnson’s Funeral, 17720 Monterey St., Morgan Hill, CA 95037 (408) 779-8456. A viewing will begin at 9:00 A.M., with services at 10:00 A.M. Reception will be held at a later date to honor Sylvia’s service to the community. A Celebration of Life will be held at Old City Hall Restaurant, 7400 Monterey St., Gilroy, on February 28th between 1:00-4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Fisher House Foundation or Homes For Our Troops.

This week, Gilroy Police responded to incidents that included pants theft, drunk in public, assault and identity theft. Here are a few of those incidents:
