Morgan Hill – Police are looking for three to four “nicely dressed” Filipino or Asian men they say burglarized two homes on Grand Prix Way and Lancia Drive in north Morgan Hill sometime between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Monday. Witnesses told police they saw the men in a white or silver Honda or Acura at or near the homes. They were wearing slacks with polo-type shirts, police said.
It is possible the suspects approach the front door and knock to see if anyone answers, police said. If the homeowner answers they probably make up a story. If nobody answers then they will make their way to the side or rear of the property and attempt to gain entry.
The suspects in these cases entered the side yard and removed screens, checking for unlocked windows. Once they found an opening, they entered and ransacked the house, taking various items and leaving other valuables behind.
MHPD reminds residents to secure doors and windows when leaving. Use additional locks to secure windows and doors, and set the alarm if applicable.
