GILROY – Feather Haven outlasted Los Cochinos 10-7 Friday at Las Animas Park to move to 3-0 atop the second-half Men’s D Softball League standings.

John DeCarlo Jr. stroked a home run, two-run double and single to help Feather Haven. Eddie Adame and Elias Sanchez each hit two home runs for Los Cochinos.

Tax Systems also reached 3-0, setting up the showdown between the top two clubs on Friday June 19 at 8:50 p.m. at Las Animas. Ryan Velasco produced three hits and scored four runs as Tax Systems defeated the Bomb Squad 24-10. Addison Quach and David Espinosa hit Bomb Squad homers.

Humboldt Brewing is third at 2-1 after a 17-1 decision over Victoria’s Italian Deli. Dave Keim Jr. plated five Humboldt runs with a home run and double. Russell Emeterio singled and scored the Victoria’s run.

Joe Gallegos singled and scored in the bottom of the seventh inning on a TJ Loebig triple to give the OG’s (2-1) a 9-8 upset win over VFW Bingo (3-1) in Men’s EE play Thursday at Las Animas.

Loebig and Josh Dias each cracked three-run homers for the winners. Stephen Jeske’s solo homer ignited a four-run rally in the top of the Bingo seventh to leave an 8-8 tie.

Adolfo Tellez powered a three-run homer in the sixth inning to carry SVCC Sons of Thunder past the Good Ole Boys 9-7. Kris Puthoff delivered a homer, triple and double for the Boys, Don Haygood a homer and double.

Team Hair FX needed a two-out, three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Rush Order 7-6 in Co-Rec C play Sunday at Las Animas.

Tim Gallardo and Bobby Granados hit triples to help Rush Order to a 6-4 lead after six frames. Team Hair FX (3-0) responded with a Tim Graves double with two out in the seventh. Tracy Nelson singled and scored on an Albert Vegas triple. AJ Martinez plated Vegas with a single.

Hi-Energy Networks moved to 4-0 with a 6-3 nod in eight innings over the Big Kahunas.

Mark Logan clubbed a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring on a Vicki Groppe single as the Kahunas rallied for a 3-3 tie. Len Van Eck’s RBI-single snapped the tie for Hi-Energy. Van Eck added a two-run homer.

Out to Play-Pro Electric topped Anritsu 17-0 as James Lopez provided a double and two singles.

Frank Vargas Taxes turned back Gaeta’s Ballers 12-5 Sunday to reach 4-0 atop the Co-Rec B League standings.

Anthony Corral homered and Paul Garcia ripped three hits for the Tax offense. Cris Adame managed a double and two singles for Gaeta’s.

RSW Racing is 3-1 in B play after defeating Blackout Window Tinting 19-5. Anthony Lucio stroked three doubles, Marco Lopez three singles for RSW Racing. Jeff Wong and Art Mancera hit Blackout doubles.
