Dear Editor,
It should be of no surprise nor should it impress you that there were hundreds of thousands of pro-illegal immigration supporters in light of the fact that they had somewhere between 11 and 20 million illegal alien troops to draw from.
Illegal aliens are a financial drain on our society. In some areas they have bankrupted our healthcare providers. They have taxed our social service providers to the breaking point. Our schools are overtaxed by taking on students who speak little or no English. Thirty-three percent of our prison populations are illegal aliens costing us billions. Thirty-six to 42 percent of illegal aliens are on welfare, wasting more billions. We owe illegal aliens nothing.
Illegal aliens whether from China, Nigeria, Canada or Mexico should be deported and get in line with others who are trying to immigrate to the United States in a legal and orderly manner.
Shame on our gutless federal government for surrendering to 11 million illegals while 200 plus million American citizens are left holding the bag.
We are a nation of laws and we should not welcome anyone whose first contribution to our nation is to break our laws by setting foot here illegally.
