runners and throwers to Saturday’s West Valley Relays, with a few
individuals putting out strong performances.

Elise Ogle placed fifth in the 1500 meters, finishing with a time of 5 minutes, 4.15 seconds. There was a photo-finish as Ogle crossed the line with Rachel Stump of Los Gatos, who took fourth with a time of 5:04.08.

Travis Reyes had the highest finish of any boys taken to the meet, placing 18th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.75 seconds. Steven Heisey followed close behind, taking 22nd in 11.83.

Brandie Rodriguez finished in 19th in the ladies’ 800-meter race with a personal best of 2:31.89.

The Mustangs will be off for spring break before returning to the track Thursday, April 3, for a dual meet with girls of Notre Dame and the boys of Palma.
