Old City Hall bell honors Covid-19 victims

The bell at Old City Hall in downtown Gilroy rang Jan. 19 to honor the Americans who have died from Covid-19.

Bells throughout the nation rang at 2:30pm on the West Coast and 5:30pm on the East Coast.

More than 400,000 people have died in the United States from the virus, including 1,109 in Santa Clara County.
