DEAR EDITOR:

Concerning the opinion piece on Olin and “dirty soil.” Why was there no name attached to this “fine” work? Perusing the article, I half expected words like proletariat and filthy capitalist pigs to appear at any moment. All in all it was a very poor hatchet job exposing the author’s liberal bias.

Thank God I don’t live in California, a state which is setting one record after another in driving business OUT and into the arms of nearby states.

Maybe your fine citizenry will one day learn how to make the flora and fauna pay taxes.

California is, and has been the laughingstock of the nation for some time. It seems that your paper is fully in on the joke.
