Padron-Austin
Adina Geraldine Padron and Robert David Austin were married May 24, 2003, at Old Mission San Juan Bautista.
Adina is the daughter of Fred and Terrie Trujillo, of Gilroy, and Robert is the son of David Austin, of San Jose, and Susan Mingione, of Los Altos.
Adina is the manager of the co-ed unit at Rebekah Children’s Services of Gilroy. She is a graduate of Gilroy High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration. She is currently attending the University of San Francisco for her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy.
Robert is a group superviosr with the San Mateo Probation Department. He is a graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration.
The wedding was officiated by Father Dan Derry. The bride chose Anissa Dizon as her matron of honor, Amia Trujillo as junior bridesmaid and Analia Garza as flower girl. The attendants were Talia Legan, Diana Rodriguez, Julie Montoro, Christina Trujillo and Amy Mendoza, and the madrinos were Geri Sibilla, Mary Cano, Sandy Garza and Andrea Carrasquillo.
David chose Jason Austin and Christopher Rebboah as his best men, Trevor Trujillo as junior groomsman and Christian Dizon as pageboy/ringbearer. The ushers were Leandro Vera, Greg Austin, Jacob Padron, Josh Padron, Marc Hartley and Jun Dizon. The padrinos were Vic Sibilla, Charlie Cano, Reuben Garza and Ralphy Carrasquillo, and the bell ringers were Raphael Carrasquillo and Josiah Garza.
After a reception at the San Juan Oaks Golf Course, the couple honeymooned at Sandals Royal Bahamanian, in Nassau, Bahamas.
