Pastura “Pat” Bagood died at home in Gilroy on Oct. 28, 2003, following a brief illness.

She is the wife of the late, Julio Bagood.

Pat was born in Walalua, Oahu, Hawaii, 80 years ago. She moved to California in 1926 and to the Gilroy area in the 1940s and has lived here since. Mrs. Bagood worked at the Filice and Perrelli Cannery in San Martin for Driscolls and then spent 24 years at IBM as an administrative assistant. Pat was a founding member of the Fil-Am Senior Center in Gilroy and was a member of the Vasayan Trust.

She enjoyed traveling in her RV with her husband and was an avid seashell collector.

She is survived by her daughter, Camille L. Bagood, of Gilroy; grandchildren, Rachel Bagood, of Santa Maria, Kathy Bagood, of Santa Barbara, Elizabeth Bagood, of Santa Maria, Alicia Bagood, of Fresno, and Phillip Bagood, of Santa Maria; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her adopted family, Paul and Barbara Mirelez Family.

She was preceded in death by her son Phillip Bagood and her grand-daughters Corrina Bagood and Elaine Bilstad.

Viewing will begin on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home with a Vigil Service being prayed at 5 p.m. Funeral Service will begin on Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and then proceed to St. Marys Church for a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Gilroy.
