Patricia Baker-Loveless July 12 1925 – February 15, 2016

Former Gilroy resident, Patricia Baker-Loveless, age 90, of Grants Pass, OR died Monday, February 15, 2016, in Grants Pass.
 Patricia was born July 12, 1925, in Wanganui, New Zealand. 
 She moved to Gilroy in 1947 and in the early 1950’s, worked at the old Gilroy Justice Court with Judge Leon Thomas, then John Klarich. During that time, Patricia’s husband, Sergeant Robert Baker worked downstairs for the Gilroy Police Department and Marshal Harold Sturla, then Chief Jim Laizure. 
 For 25 years, she was the head county court clerk of Gilroy Justice Court. 
 In 2012, she moved from Gilroy to Grants Pass to be closer to family.
 She enjoyed traveling the world, including Hawaii, New Zealand, Italy, and all over Europe. She also loved playing the Reno slot machines.
 Survivors include a daughter, Audrey Barker of Jacksonville, OR; a son, Wayne Baker and wife, Michele of Grants Pass, OR; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Baker in 1961 and her second husband, Elmer Loveless in 1985.
