Lewis scores 816 series in Gilroy Bowl league action
GILROY – League bowler Tammy Lewis caught fire in Gilroy Bowl action last week as she scored games of 289, 278 and 249 for an 816 tally.
Meanwhile in the men’s divison, Dusty Lester’s 717 three-game series (276 high) edged out both Scott Kawano (712 series, 267 high) and Jim Bush (712 series, 278 high).
Junior bowler Nick Simons finished with a 579 three-game series along with a 220 high game.
Rounding out the women’s division were: Sue King (540, 200); Jolene Furuya (555, 200); Tracy Nelson (561, 217); Dawn Wilson (552, 212); and Kathy Bennett (210).
Completing the top men’s bowlers were: Jess Salazar (693, 267); Terry Lee (675, 248); Joe Rizzuto (666, 248); Allan Fong (660, 224); Art Calimpong (266); and Philip Macias (680).
