Police blotter

The Gilroy Police Department responded to a variety of crimes this week, including criminal threats, burglary, embezzlement, possession of a firearm by a felon and child endangerment. Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter between July 16 to 21.
Burglary
-Gavin Qutob, 48, July 17 at 4:59 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for felony first-degree burglary and felony probation violation.
-Kathee Deloera, 51, July 19 at 6:58 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for first-degree burglary.
-Alisa Suniga, 19, July 19 at 6:36 p.m. on the 6700 block of Camino Arroyo for first-degree burglary and vandalism with damages between $5,000 and $50,000.
-Joseph Velador, 22, July 21 at 1:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Maple Street for two charges and two felony charges of second-degree robbery.
Child endangerment
-Salena Hernandez, 36, July 21 at 1:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Maple Street for three charges of child endangerment involving unjust pain and suffering.
Criminal threats
-Folitau Ula, 23, July 19 at 8:46 p.m. near the intersection of First Street and Wren Avenue for a felony charge of making threats to commit a crime with intent to terrorize and exhibiting a deadly weapon.
-Gustavo Pelagio, 33, July 20 at 6:08 p.m. near the intersection of Old Gilroy and Seventh streets for threatening to commit a crime resulting in death and battery against a spouse, cohabitant or friend.
Driving or taking a vehicle without permission of the owner
-Juan Pablo Barriga, 34, July 21 at 10:45 a.m. for one felony charge and battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend.
Embezzlement
-Richard Corriera, 28, July 17 at 9:01 p.m. on the 600 block of Leavesley Road for an outstanding warrant for embezzlement/grand theft.
Felon in possession of a firearm
-John Lugo, 21, July 20 at 10 p.m. near the intersection of Rogers Lane and Hadley Court for one felony charge.
Inflicting bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant
-Maria Garcia Salinas, 41, July 17 at 3:28 p.m. on the 800 block of Morningside Court for one felony charge.
-Sara Simmons, 23, July 200 at 11:48 p.m. on the 5800 block of Caliente Way.
-Matthew Sanchez, 24, July 2 at 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of Hanna and 10th streets for one felony charge and felony vandalism with damages exceeding $5,000.
Theft or unauthorized use of a vehicle
-Richard Leon, 18, July 18 at 9:41 a.m. on the 7600 block of Church Street for one felony charge.
Multiple charges
-Linette Cruz, 38, July 16 at 6:55 p.m. at the Gilroy police station for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and battery.
-Victoria Diaz, 40, July 16 at 11:04 p.m. near the intersection of Leavesley Road and Murray Avenue for battery against a spouse, cohabitant or friend, driving on a suspended license, selling or aiding in the sale of stolen property and drinking in public.
-Aaron Haygood, 26, July 18 at 8:37 p.m. near the intersection of Hanna and Oak streets for resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer, use or being under the influence of a controlled substance, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and re-arrest for a probation violation.
Possession of a controlled substance
-Pavlo Torres, 31, July 17 at 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of Ninth and Church streets for one felony charge, destroying or concealing evidence and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Amanda Morales, 28, July 17 at 11:11 p.m. near the intersection of Martin and Forest streets for one felony and one misdemeanor charge.
-Beatrice Rodriguez, 20, July 19 at 2:04 a.m. on the 100 block of W. 10th Street for two misdemeanor charges, giving a false name to a police officer and use or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
-Julian Orosco, 45, July 20 at 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of Eigleberry and Fifth streets for three charges, two felony and one misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana.
-Juan Romero, 32, July 20 at 6:08 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Seventh streets for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility and driving while unlicensed.
Driving violations
-Cody Gadth, 21, July 18 at 10:53 p.m. on the 6800 block of Camino Arroyo for reckless driving and expired registration.
-Brittany Lorenzana, 22, July 19 at 4 p.m. on the 9300 block of Monterey Street for driving with privileges suspended or revoked, two charges of driving on a suspended license and driving with privileges suspended or revoked for refusing a chemical test.
Under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance
-Casey Adams, 24, July 16 at 5:44 p.m. on the 9200 block of Wren Avenue for one misdemeanor charge and giving a false name to a police officer.
-Eva Zuniga, 31, July 17 at 1:21 a.m. on the 300 block of Mantelli Drive for two charges.
-Luis Cavazos, 39, July 19 at 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Welburn Avenue and Church Street for one charge and obstructing or resisting a police officer.
-George Munoz, 38, July 19 at 9:50 p.m. on the 7900 block of Monterey Street.
-Richard Ruiz, 31, July 20 at 1:44 a.m. on the 7200 block of Monterey Street.
-Giovanni Rodriguez, 21, July 21 at 3:39 p.m. near the intersection of Forest and Walnut streets.
