Police Blotter: Recent arrests made in Gilroy and Morgan Hill

The Gilroy Police Department responded to a variety of crimes last week, including human trafficking, lewd and lascivious acts with someone under 14, causing or permitting a child to suffer, and threats of violence. The arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter between Jan. 15 through 22. Human trafficking
-Randy Neely, 21, on Jan. 16 at 7:33 p.m. on the 5500 block of Monterey Road for felony human trafficking of a victim under 18, felony knowledge of a felony having been committed and felony conspiracy to commit a crime.
-Ivan Wade, 21, on Jan. 16 at 7:20 p.m. on the 5500 block of Monterey road for felony human trafficking of a victim under 18, felony knowledge of a felony having been committed, felony conspiracy to commit a crime and felony re-arrest for a probation violation.
-Khalid Malik, 24, on Jan. 16 at 7:07 p.m. on the 5500 block of Monterey Road for felony human trafficking of a victim under 18, felony knowledge of a felony having been committed and felony conspiracy to commit a crime.
-Yahya Malik, 22, on Jan. 16 at 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Street and Garlic Farm Road for two felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts on a child under 14, felony pandering, felony pimping of an underage person, felony enticing a female for prostitution, felony conspiracy to commit a crime, felony human trafficking of a victim under 18, felony oral copulation with a minor under 16 and felony processing as a violator for parole violation.
Spousal/child abuse
-Anita Acevedo, 19, on Jan. 16 at 3:26 p.m. near the intersection of Fairview Drive and Hanna Street for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant, a felony charge of willfully causing or permitting a child to suffer, and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
-Hector Sanchez, 37, on Jan. 18 at 12:57 a.m. on the 100 block of Ervin Court for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
Threats of violence
-Jose Martinez, 22, on Jan. 16 at 3:45 p.m. on the 800 block of Forest Street for felony threats to commit a crime resulting in death or bodily injury, felony parole violation for revocation and violation of an order to prevent domestic violence.
Robbery
-Mary Herrera, 46, on Jan. 17 at 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Renz Lane and Camino Arroyo for felony robbery and nine other warrants, from violation of a protective order to felony possession of a controlled substance.
Multiple charges
-Yajaira Aispuro, 24, on Jan. 15 at 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of Fifth and Eigleberry streets for resisting arrest and entering a non-commercial dwelling.
-Jason Fernandez, 24, on Jan. 18 at 2:41 p.m. near the intersection of Chestnut and Ninth streets for possession of concentrated cannabis, inadequate tires on a highway, change of address or change of registration and failure to maintain a minimum speed.
-John Brooks, 49, on Jan. 19 at 12:53 a.m. on the 7000 block of Miller Avenue for an outstanding felony warrant for burglary in the first degree, petty theft with three or more priors and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Edilberto Arellano, 31, on Jan. 19 at 8:30 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for petty theft, failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and driving with expired registration.
-Luis Vasquez, 27, on Jan. 19 at 4:21 p.m. near the intersection of Swanston and Casey lanes for felony burglary in the first degree, felony false personation, resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer and possession of a dirk or dagger.
-Alfredo Flores, 36, on Jan. 20 at 5:53 p.m. on the 200 block of West Ninth Street for trespass, use or being under the influence of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.
Possession of a controlled substance
-Margaret Garibaldi, 32, on Jan. 16 at 12:52 a.m. near the intersection of IOOF Avenue and Forest Street for felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.
-Amanda Morales, 28, on Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. near the intersection of IOOF and Murray avenues for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
-Jesus Lopez, 50, on Jan. 18 at 10:07 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey Road and Howson Street for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance, use or being under the influence of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe.
-Jenai Aguirre, 21, on Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for possession of a controlled substance.
Driving under the influence
-Manuel Mederos, 45, on Jan. 20 at 8:24 p.m. on the 7100 block of Harvard Place for driving under the influence and being an unlicensed driver.
Battery
-Juan Avila Lopez, 49, on Jan. 19 at 1:37 p.m. on the 7400 block of Monterey Road for battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend.
-Brice Noriega, 20, on Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. near the intersection of Sixth and Chestnut streets for battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend.
Driving violations
-Priscilla Pina, 20, on Jan. 15 at 12:05 p.m. near the intersection of Alexander and East Eighth streets for driving with privileges suspended or revoked, failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility and driving without due caution.
-Pavlo Torres, 30, on Jan. 16 at 11:32 p.m. near the intersection of Old Gilroy and Railroad streets for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Henry Soza, 35, on Jan. 17 at 1:48 p.m. near the intersection of 10th and Church streets for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Antonio Francisco, 23, on Jan. 22 at 7:52 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Howson streets for two outstanding warrants for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
Parole violations
-Troy Kinsey, 22, on Jan. 15 at 12:59 p.m. near the intersection of Sixth and Maple streets for felony parole hold.
Resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer
-Gabriel Mendoza, 23, on Jan. 17 at 6:25 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
-Norman Roderick, 50, on Jan. 19 at 3:20 p.m. on the 900 block of First Street for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
Disorderly conduct
-Victor Valdez, 21, on Jan. 19 at 7:55 p.m. on the 7900 block of Westwood Street for disorderly conduct.
Petty theft
-Thomas Alvarez, 40, on Jan. 19 at 9:57 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for petty theft.
Under the influence
-Giovanni Rodriguez, 21, on Jan. 19 at 11:45 p.m. on the 8300 block of Swanston Lane for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.
Vandalism
-Frank Bedgood, 45, on Jan. 16 at 2:21 p.m. near the intersection of First Street and Wren Avenue for vandalism of property not belonging to the suspect.
