A male was approached by an unknown robber as he was getting out
his vehicle, parked at the intersection of Forest Street and Lewis
Street, 1:38 a.m. June 21. The suspect held one hand in his
sweatshirt pocket and told the victim to empty his pockets. The
suspect then grabbed the left chest pocket of the victim. The
victim was not sure if anything was taken from his pocket and
didn’t know if the suspect had a weapon concealed in his sweatshirt
pocket.
Suspicious activity

A 7-year-old male said he was grabbed by the arm near his home on Countdown Way and Lahinch Court, 3:45 p.m. April 13. Two employees of a nearby business were later located and interviewed. They denied making any contact with the child.

Stolen vehicle

A silver 1998 Honda Civic was stolen and recovered on Gettysburg Way, between 6:30 p.m. June 18 and 4:30 a.m. June 19.

A man on Princevalle Street awoke to hear the door to his vehicle being slammed shut, 4:24 a.m. June 19. He went outside and saw thieves driving off with the vehicle. The vehicle was abandoned a short distance away and the suspects fled on foot. Two other stolen vehicles along with stolen property were recovered at the same location.

A thief removed the tires from a gold 1997 Honda Accord on Princevalle Street, 4:24 a.m. June 19.

A green 1996 Honda Civic, license no. 5WVR303, was stolen from Gettysburg Way, between 10 p.m. June 21 and 7:30 a.m. June 22.

Auto burglary

A burglar or burglars entered a vehicle on the 8200 block of Delta Drive, between 5 p.m. June 18 and 4:28 a.m. June 19. The vehicle had four Nexim tires and 20-inch MSR rims with a total value of $1,800 removed and was left sitting on two large rocks with the lug nuts left behind.

Grand theft

A thief stole four 22-inch chrome rims and tires valued at $2,000 from a gray 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe on Monticelli Drive, between 10 p.m. June 18 and 6:30 a.m. June 19. The items were recovered inside a separate vehicle during a separate investigation.

A thief or thieves took 30 Nautica polo shirts worth $655.17 from a business on Leavesley Road and fled the scene, between 3:20 and 4:47 p.m. June 21.

Lost property

An unspecified person lost a wallet containing his Arizona driver’s license, passport and social security card on Leavesley Road, between 10 a.m. and 12:02 p.m. June 19.

An unspecified person reported lost property on Monterey Road, between 9:45 p.m. June 4 and 10 a.m. June 5.

Fraud

A victim’s name and social security number were used to open a Charles Schwab account, 2:48 p.m. June 19.

Petty theft

An 11-year-old was placed under citizen’s arrest for taking a black T-shirt valued at $8.99 from a store on Chestnut Street, 7:58 p.m. June 19.

Robbery

A male was approached on First Street by two suspects who demanded money, 10:42 p.m. June 19. The victim did not give them any money and they fled when he told them he was going to call police.

Petty theft

Two males took a 24-pack of Budweiser from 7-Eleven on Leavesley Road and fled without paying for it, 12:21 a.m. June 20.

A rear license plate was stolen from a blue 2001 Jaguar on the 7200 block of East Street, 7:54 p.m. June 22.

Injury accident

A driver had a stroke or heart attack and veered off the roadway and into the yard of home on the 600 block of Welburn Avenue, 12:02 p.m. June 20. The driver was transported by EMS and the vehicle was towed.

A black 1995 Toyota and a gold 2003 Chevy were involved in a traffic incident on 10th Street, 2:01 p.m. June 21.

Residential burglary

A burglar or burglars entered a Kelton Drive residence through an unlocked window and stole $2,600 in cash, miscellaneous rings valued at $1,000, stereos valued at $100 and miscellaneous clothes valued at $250, between 9 p.m. June 19 and 3 a.m. June 20.

A woman reported the passenger window of her Nissan Sentra on Ramona Way was broken by her ex-boyfriend, 8:47 p.m. June 21.

Commercial burglary

A burglar or burglars entered Tracy’s Nails on Chestnut Street, which was closed and locked, and removed a 46-inch flat screen TV valued at $1,214 and $2,220 in currency, between 6 p.m. June 21 and 5:14 a.m. and June 22.

Petty theft

Two vehicles registered to a business on Obata Way had their license plates stolen, 6 p.m. June 19.

A rear license plate was taken from a gray 2001 GMC on First Street, 10:41 p.m. June 22.

Missing juvenile

A runaway juvenile was reported on Rodgers Lane, 3:30 p.m. June 19.

Graffiti

A citizen reported several juveniles underneath the Farrell-Church Street bridge, possibly vandalizing the bridge, 8:45 p.m. June 22. Officers located seven young people. One of the subjects detained had graffiti instruments, was cited and was turned over to his parents.

Auto burglary

A burglar or burglars stole a Sony Nav-U portable GPS valued at $440 from a vehicle on Santa Paula Drive, between 10 p.m. June 18 and 6:30 a.m. June 19.
