Police are looking for four men believed to have brandished a weapon near Sixth Street and Rogers Lane Monday morning, according to the Gilroy Police Department.
At 9:52 a.m., police received a report of a firearm brandishing at the intersection of East Sixth Street and Rogers Lane, according to a GPD press release.
The reporting party said they were following the suspect vehicle in the area. The vehicle parked in a nearby apartment complex and four occupants fled from the vehicle on foot, according to police.
According to the GPD, victims described the suspects as four Hispanic males with shaved heads and dark complexions.
Officers arrived and conducted an extensive search of the area for the suspects, but they were not located. The suspect vehicle was located and determined to be a stolen vehicle, police said.
This case is being investigated by the Gilroy Police Department Anti-Crime Team as a possible gang crime.
