The Gilroy cheerleading team will host a clinic Feb. 5 and participants will get to show off what they learned at a performance during the 7 p.m. varsity basketball game and ASB Winter Homecoming show. Pregame practice starts at 5:30 p.m.
The Mustang Madness Cheer Clinic will feature instruction on motions, jumps and stunts all taught by GHS cheerleaders and coaches. Participants will also learn choreography that will be performed at the aforementioned events. 
The clinic is open to ages eight to 18. Younger children will be considered, contact on*******@ya***.com for more information.
Registration for the clinic includes a t-shirt an cheer bow. Pre-registration — before or on Jan. 31 — is $25. Registration after Jan. 31 through Feb. 4 is $30 or onsite registration at the clinic on Feb. 5 is $35. Payment and registration forms can be dropped off directly to GHS cheer staff in back/student parking lot from 3-4:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 or Feb.3.
