Gilroy Mustangs

Things are getting any easier for the Gilroy girls soccer team.
The Mustangs lost their fourth straight game, falling 3-0 to Santa Teresa Monday at home. 
Santa Teresa was able to jump out a 1-0 lead off a penalty kick in the second half and it was downhill from there.
Gilroy currently has three starters out with injuries and six freshmen on the team. Goalie Victoria Rodriguez has stepped in for the Mustangs’ injured starter as well. 
The game marked the end of the preseason for Gilroy which will be break for the holiday and resume with league play at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 10 at Watsonville.
