TENNIS: Alisal sweeps doubles play in 5-2 win over Christopher

39-2 — That’s the margin the Christopher girls soccer team has outscored its opponents by through seven game. A perfect record and, most recently, a Burlingame Tournament Championship have made the Cougars season even sweeter.
Christopher captured the tournament crown with a 7-0 blanking of Pinewood Saturday. The team went 3-0 in tourney to win its section.
The Cougars were led by Vanessa Koontz who had a hat trick in the game. 
Jamie Boutee added two goals of her own, bringing her season total to five. Vangie McNamara and Natalie Fillipi each had a goal and Erin Manck had two assists.
