Gilroy’s Efren Pineda scored his fourth goal of the season and it was all his team would need to top Salinas 1-0 Tuesday on the road. 
Pineda scored for the Mustangs in the second half off an assist from Fernando Lares. 
Gilroy (7-11 overall, 4-8 in league) will play its regular season finale at 5:45 p.m. Thursday against Alisal at home.
