Christopher started and stayed strong to pick up the win in its final home game of the season.
The Cougars boys basketball team topped Salinas 60-49, snapping a 10-game skid in the process.Â
Christopher jumped out to a 34-17 lead at the half, but had a little trouble finding its footing after the break. It was outscored by 11, but its early lead helped hold off a Salinas comeback.Â

The Cougars (9-14 overall, 2-9 in league) will close out the regular season with a 7 p.m. game at Seaside Friday.
