Marcus Medina went 2-for-4 with a home run, Sammy Aptekar was 3-for-4 and Josh Boykin had two doubles to lead Gilroy High’s baseball team to a 14-4 home win over Alisal on Wednesday.

The Mustangs improved to 14-3-1 overall and 12-0 in the Monterey Bay League Pacific Division.

BOYS TENNIS

Victor Vong won 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 at No. 1 singles, but Christopher’s boys tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss at Everett Alvarez in windy Salinas.

BOYS GOLF

Gilroy’s boys golf team shot a team total of 270 to finish fourth in an MBL Pacific Division match at Black Horse Golf Course.
