Seedings for the 2014 Central Coast Section football playoffs were announced Sunday and the new Monterey Bay League Pacific Division champion Christopher Cougars earned a first round home game.Â
The No. 3 seeded Cougars will take on No. 6 Wilcox in the CCS Division II playoffs at 7 p.m. Friday at Christopher High School.Â
In field hockey, Gilroy topped Saratoga 5-0 Saturday at Leland to advance to the CCS semifinals. The No. 4 seeded Mustangs will take on No. 1 Archbishop Mitty at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at Leland High School.Â
