DEAR EDITOR:
Should Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld go?
That’s the big question this week. But I don’t feel that I should answer it and neither should you. It is entirely up to President Bush to determine his fate. If the president continues his move to satisfy the party right-wing extremists and their desire to continue to move our country toward fascism, then he should keep both Donald Rumsfeld and John Ashcroft in his cabinet.
These two men are working very hard to accomplish this goal. However, if the president should decide that he has gone too far in this direction, he should get ride of these two guys. Doing this would help to suppress the cruel and hateful image that the president has created of himself and of our country. Maybe the world would come to think better of us.
The decision that you and I will get to make will have to wait until this coming November.
