Dear Editor,
President Bush lied? He said that Saddam Hussein has weapons of

Dear Editor,
President Bush lied? He said that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction. Then he said he was going to capture Saddam.
Even with Saddam being the most recognizable figure in Iraq and a multi-million dollar bounty, it still took nine months to find him held up in a hole like a miserable rat. If it took nine months to locate Saddam, why would you think it would be easy to uncover weapons of mass destruction? Weapons that we know he had and had used, never any proof of destruction of said weapons by the weapons inspectors, yet some how they just disappeared.
They disappeared all right, just like Saddam disappeared. These people bury everything from jet aircraft to dictators. A country the size of California, minus the population and Hollywood, and you’ve got to be a little gullible if you think this stuff isn’t buried out there in the desert or hasn’t been moved to a friendly neighbor. You believe in global warming and the Easter Bunny, so why wouldn’t you consider this theory? Certainly there is more evidence.
I sure don’t envy Bush. Trying to win a war with that yapping dog John Kerry constantly saying the sky is falling. Can you imagine if this was WWII? Most believed that after the invasion of Normandy the war would be over by Christmas of ’44. Then came the Battle of the Bulge. Would you call Eisenhower and the rest of our leaders a bunch of idiots? We rushed to war; it was the wrong war; wrong time and not enough troops? But of course in those days real men received real purple hearts and the American press had a conscience.
Yes, it’s true, Bush is way too liberal for my liking, but when it comes to the war on terror he has my vote and I’d bet the vote of most of our service people.
