Dear Editor,

A special “thanks” to a few great Gilroy police officers. On Tuesday, Nov 23, my wife Liete had her car stolen while volunteering at the St Joseph’s Center about 3pm. After reporting the the theft, officer Frank Bozzo showed up and took the report with a sincere and professional manner, explaining what to expect and when.

One day later, we received a call from officer Roccaforte, informing us that the car had been recovered here in town.

After arriving at the location given, Officer Roccaforte and his supporting officers doing the fingerprinting of the car, were amazing.

They explained the investigation and what led to the arrest of a local, who is the suspect in the theft. Once again, these guys were friendly, professional, and clearly cared about helping Liete get her car back.

Also, a special thanks to David Cox, executive director for the St Joseph’s Center for showing a level of compassion and caring that we would only expect from guy like David.

It’s great living in Gilroy with so many good people!

Greg Edgar and Liete Da Costa, Gilroy
