many years in Gilroy.
R. Alden Banner died Monday Jan. 31, 2005. He was a dentist for many years in Gilroy.
He is survived by wife, Betty; children, Cheri Sue of Gilroy, Gary of Gilroy, Jeff of Orange; grandchildren, Richie, Amanda, and Joey; siblings, Ida Mae of Rochester, Minn., Jack of Forks, Wash., and Max of Salinas.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 9pm Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
A memorial will take place at 11am, Feb. 20, 2005, at Hollister 7th Day Adventist, 2121 Sunnyside Road.
A private burial will be held at San Joaquin National Cemetery.
