An accident just north of Highway 25 Friday morning caused a
back up into Gilroy for a short time. A middle-aged woman was taken
to the hospital after she apparently lost control of her red
minivan at about 10:30am on southbound U.S. 101. A second smaller
vehicle was also involved though further details were unavailable.
A witnessed described the vehicle as being out of control when it
hit a guardrail.
