Playoff Week for the Gilroy Adult Fall Softball Program opens Sunday Oct. 17 with three games at both Christmas Hill and Las Animas Parks.
The Co-Rec B League pits first-seed Team Rush against Blackout Window Tinting at 4:30pm at Christmas Hill. Just Released and Self Made Crew play at 5:40pm. The two winners will play for the post-season title at 6:50pm.
Co-Rec C action at Las Animas Sunday opens with unbeaten Out 2 Play against Gilroy Vet at 4:30pm. Big Kahuna and Hi-Energy Networks compete at 5:40.
The Hit Crew stopped Los Gigantes 23-9 Monday to earn the regular-season Men’s C title at 6-2. Eddie Adame and Cris Adame each went 4-for-5 with a home run for the winners. Hit Crew opens Playoff Night on Monday at Christmas Hill Park against DS Builders. Los Gigantes and O’Neal Roofing play at 7:40pm.
Blown captured the first seed in the Men’s CC post-season at 7-1 with a 7-6 edging of Anritsu Tuesday. Memo Lopez doubled and singled, scoring twice for Blown. Blown faces fourth-seed Dirty Dozen Tuesday at 6:30pm, followed at 7:40 with Mountain Mike’s and Willis Construction.
Heathen won the first seed in the Men’s D League at 6-2 with a 7-5 victory over Weapons of Mass Seduction Wednesday at Christmas Hill. Joel Lopez keyed the winners with four hits. Heathen takes on Team Hair FX Wednesday at Christmas Hill at 6:30pm. Feather Haven and Extreme Air Conditioning play the 7:30pm game.
The Women’s League takes Las Animas Park Wednesday at 6:30pm with Blackout Window Tinting opposite All 4 Seasons Pet Services. Mountain Mike’s Pizza and Kalai Kraze play at 7:40pm.
New Hope Community Church, the top seed in the Men’s DD League, plays Thursday at Christmas Hill at 6:30pm against Los Traviesos. Bike Center and Los Chilotes compete at 7:40pm.
The Men’s E League sends out the Titans against VFW Bingo at 6:30pm on Thursday at Las Animas. Claddagh Brew Crew and Trevino Brothers Construction play the 7:40pm contest.
