Aaron Muro drove in four runs with a home run and single as Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors claimed sole possession of first place in the Tuesday Men’s DD Softball League standings with an 8-5 win over Walton & Sons Masonry at Christmas Hill Park.
Jade Garcia and Rodney Clore each provided three hits as the Floormen moved to 4-1.
Walton & Sons Masonry slipped into a second-place tie with North Bound at 3-2. Johnny Andrade doubled and singled for Walton & Sons.
North Bound struck for eight runs in the top of the seventh inning, then held off a nine-run Borrachos rally to earn a 14-13 win. Mike Hernandez went 3-for-3 and scored three North Bound runs. Kenny Hopf collected two hits in the seventh for the Borrachos.
Chris Del Real and George Salgado each homered to lift the 953 Boys by Sons of Pitches, 13-8. Shawn Bell homered and Aaron Parker and Jarod Peterson both went 3-for-4 for the Sons.
Out 2 Play reached 4-0 in Co-Rec play Sunday at Las Animas Park with a 21-9 victory over Station 55. Cynthia Garza led the Players with four hits. Tommy Muth and Chris Velador each went 4-for-4, Andy Alarcon scored four runs and Jerrica Dexter went 3-for-4 for Station 55.
Team Xtreme is second at 2-1 after a 12-4 win over the Big Kahunas. Mike Martinez homered and Rich Young went 4-for-5 for Xtreme. Brian Lomeli went 3-for-4 and Julie Berggren scored two Big Kahunas runs.

Corey’s Girls swept a doubleheader, topping Las Frijolitas 28-3 and outlasting DF Gals 16-10 to reach 4-0. Laura Vargas went 5-for-5 and scored five runs for Corey’s in the opener.
