Trevino Brothers Construction edged Noah 11-10 Thursday as each of the three E League games were decided by one run at Christmas Hill Park.
The Builders reached 2-0 behind three runs scored by Ryan Mull and a triple and double from Robert Silvia. Noah countered with home runs from Arturo Barajas and Abe Burciaga.
Medrano Electric-Bucket List topped VFW Bingo 22-21 to join Trevino Brothers at 2-0.
Matt Hernandez keyed the Bucket offense with a home run and two triples, worth a total of seven RBIs. Steve Lemberger and Mike Catangay each went 5-for-5 for VFW Bingo.
Anritsu struck for five runs in the top of the seventh inning to earn a 10-9 win over the VFW Vets. Dave Soto’s two-out, two-run single capped the Anritsu comeback. Ben Hartshorn went 3-for-3 for the winners. Daniel Montenegro was 3-for-3 and Ali Aryanpour homered for VFW Vets.
The Stud Muffins moved to 2-0 in Friday DD play at Christmas Hill with an 18-17 win over the Heathens.
Cesar Vasquez hit a two-out, two-run home run in the top of the seventh as the Muffins snapped a 16-16 deadlock. Juan Contreras, Addison Quach and Daniel Garcia added homers for the winners. Tito Flores went 5-for-5 and Eddie Adame and Marcus Gaeta each homered for the Heathens.
The Bash Brothers (2-0) turned back God’s Gangstaz 25-10 as Joe Cano and Leroy Martinez hit home runs. Robert Pena homered as part of a five-RBI night for God’s Gangstaz.
Feather Haven upset Just Cuz 17-8 as Eric Keen homered and scored four runs. Daniel Vasquez was 4-for-4 with a homer, scoring three Just Cuz runs.
Lukas Fortino singled home Al Roybal with the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to guide 2-0 AJM Plastic Surgery past the Sweepers 11-10 in Friday EE League play at Las Animas Park.
Fortino added a home run and triple. Kris Orre homered in a 4-for-5 night for the Sweepers.
Gil’s Ole Warriors (1-0) defeated OMG 23-7 as Jose Gutierrez hit a grand slam. Danny Martinez went 2-for-3 and scored two OMG runs.
Jose Vasquez hit for the cycle and Johnny Burns went 4-for-4 to highlight a 24-19 Fastenal Nuts & Bolts win over Cross Ministries. Alvaro Garza hit two home runs for Cross Ministries.
Out 2 Play is 2-0 in Co-Rec League play after squeaking past the Big Kahunas 12-11 Sunday at Las Animas.
Art Naranjo homered in a 4-for-4 effort for the winners. John DeCarlo Jr. went 5-for-5 with a home run for the Big Kahunas.
Guts & Glory reached 2-0 by downing Hi-Energy Networks, 18-3. Ami Perez and Chris Adame each scored three Guts runs. Danielle Minkle hit a two-run double for Hi-Energy.
Hi-Energy earned a 17-14 win over Team Rush in the doubleheader nightcap. Tony Smith hit a grand slam, Jordan Regallo a three-run shot and Joseph Tovar a two-run homer for Hi-Energy. Leroy Martinez went 4-for-4 for Team Rush.
Team Xtreme poured across seven runs in the sixth inning to claim a 15-14 win over Station 55. Amanda Ross keyed the rally with a two-run double. Ken Dominick homered for Team Xtreme. Alma Quistian was 4-for-4 for Station 55.
