The Foothills came within one out of a major Men’s Fall E League upset Thursday before dropping an 11-10 decision to Louie & the Outlaws at Las Animas Park.

The Foothills, 0-4 in the regular season, erased a 9-5 deficit after six innings with five runs in the top of the seventh. Cary O’Neal and Tom Serna drove in runs with hits and John Ponzica pushed the Foothills to a 10-9 lead with a two-out, two-run single.

Mike Gonzalez saved the Outlaws in the seventh by delivering a two-out, two-run single.

Louie & the Outlaws share first place with the Titans at 3-0. Graig Martinez hit two home runs and Mike Moisa went 3-for-3 and scored three Outlaw runs. Jason Collins paced the Foothills with three hits.

The Titans pushed across five runs in the first inning and held on to defeat Anritsu 13-7.

Michael Guerra went 3-for-3 and Jason Ramirez scored three runs for the Titans. Dave Elston homered and Dave Soto doubled and singled for Anritsu.

Trevino Brothers Construction eased past Gilroy Thunder 35-10 to move to 3-1.Matt Corona hit a grand slam and Pascual Cid went 5-for-5 for Trevino Brothers. Steve Murnin, Rob Silvia, Ryan Mull and Dustin Barnes each collected four Builder hits. Billy Gocke lined four hits, Jesse Moore and Jerry Brantner three each for Thunder. JJ Ochoa hit his fourth home run of the season.

Los Gigantes turned an eight-run fourth inning into a 12-10 Men’s C League nod over Team Talamo Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.

Ryan Tapia hit a three-run home run to ignite the Los Gigantes rally. Nick Franco, John Gonzalez, Elias Madrid and Tapia each finished with three hits for the winner. Joel Lopez and Junior Salgado each netted four hits for Team Talamo.

Sons of Pitches joined Los Gigantes at 3-1 with a 13-12 edging of Willis Construction.

Joe Woods and Joe Cano each hit a three-run home run for the Pitches. Art Naranjo went 4-for-4 and AJ Martinez scored three runs.

Luis Gutierrez, Abel Gutierrez and Jose Gutierrez each stroked an RBI-double in the fourth frame as Willis struck for eight runs. Aaron Nix and Juan Gutierrez each hit an RBI-single as Willis rallied for four runs in the seventh inning.

The Heathens rallied to defeat New Hope Community Church 13-12 in nine innings Friday in a showdown of unbeaten Men’s CC League teams.

The Heathens (3-0) struck for two runs with two out in the bottom of the seventh for a 12-12 tie. Zeke Lopez and Nick Lopez each collected an RBI-single. Zeke Lopez singled home Tito Flores with the winning run in the ninth. Chris Mora finished with four hits for the winners. Ted Tencati netted three New Hope (2-1) hits.

Sean Subia went 3-for-3 and scored three runs to help Players-HD Auto Glass past No Soup 4 You 8-4. Sonny Cassillas went 2-for-2 with two RBI for the Soup.

Advance Wheels is 3-1 atop the Co-Rec B League after trimming Team Rush 6-5 Sunday. Aaron Tilley doubled and scored on an Ermalinda Garcia single in the bottom of the Wheels seventh. Ray Ramos homered and Graig Martinez went 4-for-4 for Rush.

Out 2 Play moved to 3-1 atop the Co-Rec C standings Sunday with an 18-7 nod over Top Staff. James Lopez went 4-for-4 with a home run and Ernie Payan hit a three-run homer for the winners. Joel Torres homered and Anthony Bravo tripled and doubled for Staff.

Hi-Energy Networks reached 3-1 by edging Anritsu 11-5. Shawna Snakenberg went 3-for-5 and Len Van Eck homered for Hi-Energy, Henry Maquinalez 3-for-3 for Anritsu.

Chaos (2-1) defeated Kay’s Kids 13-8 as Larry Reimal went 4-for-4. Jerry Johnston hit two doubles and Greg Lucio Jr. homered for Kay’s Kids.
