on Monday, Oct. 13, 2003.
Rosie Camarillo beloved sister, mother, friend and daughter of the late Eugenio Pierson Camarillo and Maria Garza Camarillo, died on Monday, Oct. 13, 2003.
She was a native of Brownsville, Texas, who returned to the area 17 years ago.
She is survived by her four brothers and four sisters. She lived in Gilroy for 25 years.
Rosie leaves her six children, Roberto Jr. (Alice) Domanski, Ramon Sr. (Rosa) Domanski of San Benito, Rosie Ann Domanski, Brownsville, Roxanne Domanski (Steve) Taylor, of Franklinville, N.C., Ricardo Domanski, Austin and Rolando (Sandy) Domanski of Los Banos; 13 grandchildren, Roberto Ramon III (Deidra), John Ray Domanski of San Benito, Bobby Anthony (Alma) Domanski, of South Carolina, CJ, Heather and Kurtis Taylor, of North Carolina, Raymond, Amber, Amanda Domanski and Meagan Rodriguez, of San Benito, Kevin Baty, Steven and Paige Domanski, of Los Banos; and three great-granddaughters, Denay, Alena and Kaitlyn Domanski.
Rosie was a well-known community activist and advocate for the elderly and those in need.
Visitation will be held Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Bobby, Anthony, CJ, Raymond, John Ray and Kurtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Sanchez, Ruben Rangel and Sheriff Conrado Cantu.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Joe I. Trevino, Garza Memorial Funeral Home.
