Rugby: Ortega, Nagle star, but South Valley falls to 0-2

The South Valley Bucks High School Rugby Club suffered a 24-12 road loss to the Alameda Islanders on Saturday.

Live Oak’s Jose Ortega and San Benito’s Isley Nagle each scored a try for South Valley, which fell to 0-2 in league play.

South Valley hosts Pleasanton at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center at 7 p.m. Friday.
