Good Egg awarded to Wipe Out Watch volunteer program
Gilroy is a great place to live, work and visit, and the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors takes pride in awarding the Nob Hill “Good Egg” Award to a program that has contributed to our community by instilling the spirit of volunteerism and a genuine desire to keep Gilroy looking clean, safe and graffiti-free. The recipient in October is the Wipe Out Watch Anti-Graffiti Volunteer Program administered by Community Officer, Rachel Munoz, of the Gilroy Police Department. The program is designed to assist in the removal of graffiti from public property. In addition, the volunteers assist the elderly and/or physically handicapped citizens when they become victims of graffiti and is a true partnership between the government and citizens.
