Seeing Red: Let’s work together, Gilroy

I still consider myself a newbie to the Gilroy area.
While I’ve met tons of wonderful athletes and coaches during my time here so far, there’s are still plenty I’m eager to meet, interview and write about.
Unfortunately, there’s one of me and hundreds of them. While I’d love to be at every sporting event for every team each week, it’s just not possible.
I’m asking for your help.
I want all of our local athletes to be recognized for what they’re doing out there. If you have results from a game, I’d love to have them so I can get them in and let our readers know about them.
Know of an outstanding athlete or one who has a story that needs to be told? Let me know so I can tell their tale and share it with our community.
I consider us — myself and the sports community of Gilroy — to be one big team. I want to provide you, our readers, with the best possible coverage everyday. Help me hit a homerun.
Is there something you want to see in the paper? Is there more I can be doing with our online coverage?
Let me know, I will do the very best I can to provide what it is that you’re looking for.
