  • Steven Jiminez, 28, Aug. 27 at 1:22 a.m. near the intersection of Eigleberry and Eighth streets in Gilroy for parole violation.

Felony vandalism

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 17 at 11:10 p.m. at the San Martin Animal Hospital on the 1200 block of Monterey Road in San Martin cut the hinges off a vending machine and pried a lock to open a soda vending machine. The suspect(s) stole $50 from the vending machine.

Burglary/theft

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 25 at 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Tatum and Kern avenues in Gilroy for stealing $1,175 from an unlocked Honda.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Bull Machine Company on the 1300 block of Depot Street in San Martin entered an unlocked motor home and stole a watch valued at $1,350. The unknown suspect(s) also ransacked the motorhome.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. near the 200 block of Cox Avenue in San Martin stole $1,290 worth of tools from a barn.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 12 at 7:30 a.m. near the 1500 block of Bolsa Road in Gilroy stole $50 worth of DVDs and several nondescript items worth $2,600.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. near the 3600 block of Pacheco Pass Highway in Gilroy stole a metal key storage box with approximately 15 keys from an office trailer.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 1 at 4:30 p.m. at the Gilroy Sports Park on Monterey Road smashed the right rear window of a BMW and stole a purse from inside the vehicle.
  • Unknown suspect(s), July 30 at 11 p.m. near the intersection of Heritage Way and Watsonville Road in Gilroy stole a purse from a locked vehicle.
  • Unknown suspect(s), July 30 at 8:30 p.m. at Nakashima Nursery on Rucker Avenue in Gilroy broke into the business and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,200 and caused $200 worth of damage.
  • Unknown suspect(s), July 29 at 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of 4860 Monterey Highway in Gilroy stole a 1997 black Honda Accord.

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 18 at 4 p.m. near the 1200 block of Bloomfield Avenue and Bolsa Road in Gilroy at Tom Obata Farms stole a tractor and disc that were parked in a field.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 21 at 4:30 p.m. near the 600 block of Tatum Avenue in Gilroy stole tools valued at $2,330 from a garage.
  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 21 at 2:35 p.m. near the intersection of Oak Street and Llagas Avenue in San Martin stole a purse from the front seat of a locked car.

Animal cruelty

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. near the 10000 block of Foothill Avenue shot a victim’s cat with a pellet gun. The cat was euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. The suspects are unknown and still at large.

 
Possession of stolen property

  • Hector Gutierrez, 28, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey Road and Las Animas Avenue in Gilroy for possession of a stolen credit card and probation violation.

Bringing drug paraphernalia into jail

  • Mari Rivera, 36, Aug. 13 at 10:19 p.m. near Neva Lane on Monterey Highway for bringing drug paraphernalia into jail and violation of a restraining order.

Failure to register as a sex offender every 30 days

  • Rodney Harris, 46, Aug. 3 at 12 p.m. near the 1600 block of Boston Street in Salinas for failing to register as a sex offender. Harris is a transient and thus required to register every 30 days.

Under the influence of a controlled substance

  • Alfred Lopez, 36, Aug. 6 at 12:08 a.m. near the intersection of Wren Avenue and First Street in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

 

  • Jennifer Williams, 40, Aug. 4 at 9:01 p.m. near the intersection of Wren Avenue and First Street in Gilroy for being under the influence of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine and a glass pipe.
  • Alexandra Neas, 26, Aug. 20 at 11:35 p.m. near the intersection of First Street and Miller Avenue in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • John Campa, 63, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Spring street in San Martin for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Public intoxication

  • Gilbert Bernal, 49, Aug. 1 at 11:47 p.m. near the intersection of Fisher and Railroad avenues in Morgan Hill for public intoxication.

Vehicle theft

  • Alfredo Aldape-Guerrer, 21, Aug. 24 at 1:27 p.m. near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Frazier Lake in Gilroy for vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of burglary tools.

Petty theft

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 21 at 9 a.m. near the 1300 block of Cox Avenue in San Martin stole 30 disc blades valued at $66 that were stacked on a pallet in the yard.

Vandalism, assault/battery with a lemon

  • Humberto Hernandez, 44, June 30 at 9:20 p.m. near the 400 block of Lena Avenue in Gilroy for hitting a victim on the cheek with a lemon and breaking a car window valued at $300.

Grand theft

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 17 at 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Frazier Lake Road in Gilroy stole a $1,000 portable toilet affixed to a trailer that was parked at a construction site.

 

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 15 at 12 a.m. near the 4300 block of Monterey Highway in Gilroy stole $12,510 worth of jewelry from a victim’s home.

Trespassing

  • Jane Meitzner, 55, Aug. 21 at 11:34 a.m. near the 1100 block of East San Martin Avenue in San Martin for trespassing and resisting a peace officer.

Vandalism

  • Unknown suspect(s), Aug. 18 at 11 p.m. near the 4900 block of Frazier Lake Road in Gilroy for scratching the paint of two vehicles and causing combined damages of $9,000.
