56, of South San Francisco, 11:15 a.m. Sept. 25, on the 10200 block
of Dougherty Avenue in Morgan Hill for cultivation of marijuana and
possession of marijuana for sale after deputies found them tending
to a large marijuana garden in a greenhouse during a patrol check.
Deputies confiscated 200 9-feet to 12-feet tall plants.
Cultivation of marijuana

– Manuel Moreno, 43, of San Jose, 7:53 p.m. Sept. 27, on the 19200 block of Donna Court in Morgan Hill.
Possession of a vending machine theft device
– Jason Graham Jackson, 36, of San Martin, 1:50 a.m. Sept. 27, on the 13200 block of Monterey Road in San Martin after police caught him using a screwdriver to pry open a Coca-Cola vending machine. He told police he wanted to break the vending machine lock so he could use the quarters inside to buy beer.
Drunk in public
– Genaro Pirir Equite, 63, of Morgan Hill, 12:25 p.m. Sept. 27, on the 1500 block of San Pedro Avenue in Morgan Hill.
Petty theft
– Meghan Elizabeth Signoretti, 22, of Folsom, 5:44 p.m. Sept. 23, at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., for stealing a classmate’s wallet.
Possession of methamphetamine
– Michael Lowell Haynes, 29, of Gilroy, 11:12 a.m. Sept. 23, on the 8000 block of Monterey Street for possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of methamphetamine.
OTHER INCIDENTS
Grand theft
– About $580 worth of property, including a $200 Paul Mitchel hair straightener, was stolen from a San Jose teen’s overnight bag when she was at a slumber party on the 12600 block of Hager Court in San Martin, between 1 and 9 a.m. Sept. 25.
Found property
– An abandoned bag of marijuana was found while deputies were searching the area of an unattended death, 4 a.m. Sept. 26 on the 12400 block of Llagas Avenue in San Martin.
Vandalism
– Two dead mice and an egg were smashed onto a garage door and a driveway on the 200 block of Live Oak Avenue in Morgan Hill, between 6 p.m. Sept. 4 and 4 p.m. Sept. 19.
Petty theft
– Car keys, house keys, a car remote and $9 in cash were stolen from an unlocked locker in the women’s locker room at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., between 11 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Sept. 23.
Residential burglary
– About $2,175 in jewelry was stolen from a residence on the 2500 block of Las Coyote Court, between 7:30 a.m. and 9:50 p.m. Sept. 21.
– Power tools worth $2,030 were stolen from a residence on the 15300 block of Sycamore Drive in Morgan Hill, between 2 p.m. Sept. 18 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 21.
