Sandoval
– who provided them with a false name and had a no-bail warrant
– and Arnett, who was in possession of marijuana, and booked them
into the Santa Clara County Main Jail. The vehicle’s third occupant
escaped and is still missing.

Samuel Delgado Gonzales, 28, of Gilroy, 8:30 a.m. June 11, near Monterey Frontage and Monterey roads for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle during a search of his tent.
Paul Joseph Lumbard, 43, of Gilroy, 8:30 a.m. June 11, near Monterey Frontage and Monterey roads for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia when stopped for trespassing.
Juan Carlos Carasco, 29, and Carmelo Ramirez, 22, both of Gilroy, 3:43 a.m. June 11, near Lewis Street and Railroad Avenue when stopped for riding their bicycles without proper illumination.
Derald Rullin Laws, 41, of Morgan Hill, 6:45 p.m. Friday, near Monterey Frontage and Monterey roads for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Jobey Angel Barrientez, 28, of Morgan Hill, 11:32 p.m. June 16, near Masten and Manna avenues during a vehicle stop after admitting to smoking methamphetamine and injecting heroin recently.
Misappropriation of lost property
Eric Flanigan, 45, of Gilroy, 5:54 a.m. June 10, near Carmel and First streets after deputies pulled him over for having a cracked windshield and found three Direct TV cable boxes and a Direct TV remote inside his vehicle. The boxes appeared to be in good condition and still had their activation cards inside. Flanigan said he found them in the garbage.
Driver in possession of marijuana
Cody Dalton Cameron, 19, of Morgan Hill, 10:48 p.m. Saturday, near Tennant Avenue and Hill Road in Morgan Hill for driving while in possession of marijuana and driving with expired registration.
Alvaro Carlos, 24, of Morgan Hill, 10:15 a.m. June 15, near Sixth and Chestnut streets for driving while in possession of marijuana and driving with expired registration during a traffic stop while driving with his two daughters in the car.
Possession of methamphetamine
Daniel John Bailey, 33, of Gilroy, 9:48 a.m. Friday, near Church Street and Wayland Avenue after deputies found 2.3 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop for a cracked windshield and tinted front windows.

Residential burglary
A $300 Cannon digital camera and several pieces of jewelry worth $1,260 were stolen from a residence on the 6600 block of Redwood Retreat Road, between 8:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 14.
A $500 flat screen television, other electronics and money were stolen from an unlocked residence near Pharmer and Watsonville roads, between 2 and 4:30 p.m. June 10.
Two power tools were stolen from a storage shed on the 500 block of Buena Vista Avenue, between 4:40 and 4:43 p.m. Friday.
The door of a residence on the 17300 block of Chesbro Lake Drive in Morgan Hill was kicked in, the home was ransacked and $5,285 worth of jewelry was stolen, between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. June 16. This is the second burglary at that residence in 12 days, deputies said.
Stolen vehicle
A black Nucen trailer was stolen near Columbet and Church avenues in San Martin, between 7 p.m. June 12 and 8 a.m. June 13.
Vehicle burglary
Car stereo equipment worth $2,800 was stolen from a gray Chevrolet Avalanche on the 300 block of Fitzgerald Avenue in San Martin, between 5 p.m. June 11 and 10 a.m. June 14.
Vandalism
A mailbox and post on the 16100 block of DeWitt Avenue in Morgan Hill was damaged, between 5 and 6 a.m. June 14.
Several words were spray painted on the side of a greenhouse near Llagas and Church avenues in San Martin, causing about $400 in damage, between 12 and 1 p.m. June 9.
Graffiti was spray painted on the side of a barn near Turlock and Fitzgerald avenues in San Martin, causing about $400 in damage, between 12 p.m. June 1 and 12 p.m. June 9.
A fence at the rear of Davis Auto Care on the 13500 block of Depot Street in San Martin was vandalized, causing less than $400 in damage, between 10 a.m. May 30 and 10 a.m. May 31.
A wall on the 300 block of North Street in San Martin was vandalized, between 7 and 8 p.m. June 8.
The rear window of a 1949 black Chevrolet Delux on the 400 block of East Middle Avenue in San Martin was broken, causing about $350 in damage, between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. Friday.
Several buildings at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., were vandalized, between 5:45 and 6:05 a.m. June 15.
Robbery
A Gilroy man was robbed of his backpack, which contained a brown Sony Viao laptop, iPad, iPod, digital camera and speakers, just south of the National 9 Inn near Bolsa and Monterey roads, 3 a.m. Monday.
Evading a police officer
A person driving a 1990 white Geo Storm fled from deputies during an enforcement stop and was last seen driving recklessly at high speeds near U.S. 101 and San Martin Avenue in San Martin, 12:49 a.m. Saturday.
Embezzlement
Police believe a 30-year-old San Jose man with a prior forgery conviction cashed a bad check for $400 on the 13300 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin, 12 p.m. March 23.
Fraudulent checks
Police believe a 54-year-old San Jose woman cashed bad checks for $550 on the 13300 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin, between 3 p.m. May 25 and 3 p.m. May 28.
Grand theft
A Morgan Hill woman sent a San Diego woman $1,300 for a puppy that never showed up, between 12 a.m. May 24 and 11:59 p.m. June 3.
