At 9:03 p.m. on Nov. 24, a 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the area of Westwood Drive and Driftwood Terrace. Â
The victim said the attack was “completely unprovoked” and could offer no suspect information. Gilroy Police temporarily closed First Street and Westwood Drive Saturday night to investigate the scene and allow an air ambulance to land to take the victim to the hospital.Â
At the hospital, the victim underwent an emergency surgery and was brought to a stable condition.Â
