End-of-Summer Poker Tournament set for Aug. 27; warm-up softball
event planned
Gilroy – The End-of-Summer No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament will be held at 10am on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Gilroy Senior Center.

Registration for the four-person teams will continue until 5pm on Tuesday Aug. 23. The team entry fee is $60 for the recreation poker event.

Awards will be presented to the Final Table nine players, the top male and female finishers, as well as the members of the top five teams.

Defending champion The Crew has joined the field.

The Gilroy Community Services Department is offering a Men’s E Winter Warm-Up Softball Tournament on Sunday August 28 at Christmas Hill Park.

Team registration will continue through Tuesday Aug. 23 at 5pm for the double-elimination event. An entry fee of $120 and a completed roster is required to register. Further information is available at 846-0460.
