Caitlyn Krulee

Gilroy resident Caitlyn Krulee signed her letter of intent to attend the University of Oregon and will be a member of the Ducks’ acrobatics and tumbling team.
Krulee, who graduated from Valley Christian High School in San Jose, has been a competitive cheerleader for the past 11 years, spending the past four seasons as a member of the California All-Stars Lady Bullets. As the point flyer for the Lady Bullets, Krulee has been a part of a number of championship teams, including a World Championship gold-medal team in 2009, three-times a silver medalist (2010-12), and twice a National Cheerleading Association national champion.
“I can honestly say that she has been one of the most talented cheerleaders I have ever coached,” said Matt Parkey, the head coach of the California All-Stars Lady Bullets. “With intense pressure at times and elite skills she handled many obstacles with poise and agility.”
Krulee finished high school with a 3.3 grade point average, made honor roll and is fluent in American Sign Language (III). She also is an active volunteer at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.
