Morgan Hill – An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 struck a rural area north of Morgan Hill Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake, which struck just before 7:30am, was centered in an area 20 miles northeast of Morgan Hill and 23 miles east of San Jose in Santa Clara County, the USGS. said.
Neither the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department nor the Morgan Hill Police Department received any reports of injuries or damage.
