Angelica Carrillo pitched a two-hitter to lead Christopher High’s softball team to a 1-0 home win over North Salinas on Tuesday.

Patti Soria singled home the winning run in the fourth inning for the Cougars, who got two hits from Kristen Dennis and another hit from Carrillo.

Holly Lam threw a two-hitter as Gilroy High rolled to a 10-2 victory at Notre Dame of Salinas on Tuesday.

Amber Gamboa and Kaylana Mah both went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for the Mustangs. Lauren Castro was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Gilroy, which got 2-for-4 performances from both Anna Gamboa (one RBI) and Celeste Mendoza, and a triple and RBI each from Adrianna Ortega and Nicole Green.
