The Santa Clara County Agricultural Commissioner’s South County office is moving from Morgan Hill to San Martin.Â
The new office will be located in the Sig Sanchez County Government Center at 80 West Highland Avenue, Building K, near the San Martin Sheriff’s substation.
The move will allow the County Department of Agriculture and Environmental Management programs to consolidate under one roof, along with the agriculture division, vector control, animal control and environmental health. The Agricultural Commissioner’s office will be in its new location as of Tuesday, Oct. 9, following the observance of Columbus Day.
Interim Agricultural Commissioner Greg Van Wassenhove will oversee the move. Â
