Six months ago, we ran a feature on the South Valley’s most eligible bachelors, and our phones were ringing off the hook. So, we thought it was time for round two.
For the past several weeks, we’ve been asking South Valley residents to tell us where to find great, single guys, and we got our answer. Apparently, from the responses we got, Hollister’s bachelor resources have run dry, but the rest of the South Valley is brimming. Friends, family and co-workers phoned in and e-mailed us the names of their favorite bachelors who are just waiting to be caught. Ladies, start your engines.

What he’s looking for in a partner: “A best friend, a life partner, a companion – I guess I’m looking to be someone’s Prince Charming. I’m looking for someone who understands me and who I understand. I want someone on the same wavelength as me. I think I’m looking for someone who’s not overly complex, but at the same time, someone who’s not boring. I really want someone who lays out their cards about who they are and says, ‘This is me, this is who I am.'”

What he does with his free time: “I spend a lot of time raising my daughter. In winter, I’m involved with refereeing for high school wrestling and I coach my daughter’s soccer team in the fall. I’m also a big sports fan, but not obsessive to the point where I HAVE to sit in front of the T.V. all day Sunday watching football.”

Favorite band/artist: “I would say I listen to a lot of diverse music from country to Latin, so it’s too hard to pin down a favorite. I can listen to everyone from Shakira to Martina McBride and everything in between – AC/DC, Johnny Cash, hip-hop music – everything.”
His car: A pickup truck and a small SUV
Ideal date: “I would say early in the relationship, I would want to do something more one-on-one to get to know the other person. So, maybe a daytrip to go somewhere and do something like a bike ride, or hiking or horseback riding – anything that gives us one-on-one time to talk. But once we know each other pretty well, and ideal date can be anything from concerts to dancing to festivals, sporting events, or activities with my daughter. I’m easy – as long as we’re having a good time.”
