Webb places in three events at CVALs
MORGAN HILL – Hailey Webb placed in three events for the Gilroy Gators swim club at last weekend’s Coast Valley Aquatic League Championship in Morgan Hill.
Webb, competing in the age 6 and under division, placed fourth in the 25-yard backstroke and ninth in the 25-yard breast stroke. She also finished fourth with her relay team.
Cardio kickboxing workouts with instructor Joy Booker come to Gilroy
GILROY – Ultimate Cardio Combat classes are being held every Monday at 7822 Monterey Highway in Gilroy.
Instructor Joy Booker leads the class along with a special guest instructor each Monday. Robert ‘The Ghost’ Guerrero was the first to teach the class last week. To check out the next guest instructor, go to www.ultimatecardiocombat.com.
There are no sign-up or membership fees. It is only $5 for first time participants and $10 per session after that.
Monday classes begin at 5:30 p.m.

In addition, there are two cardio kickboxing classes held on Thursdays. The first session, which is taught in both English and Spanish, begins at 5:30 p.m. The second session begins at 6:45 p.m.
