‘Fan Appreciation Night’ at Gavilan College.
GILROY –The Gavilan College basketball programs will be hosting a ‘Fan Appreciation Night’ doubleheader Friday, Jan. 24 with the women’s game against Chabot tipping off at 5 p.m. and the men’s game against Hartnell following at 7:30 p.m.
The special halftime for ‘Fan Appreciation Night’ includes a Chevy’s 3-Point Shootout, 24-Fitness Challenge, a t-shirt giveaway, and a Pepsi Challenge.
Gilroy Shockers tryouts coming up in Feb.
GILROY – The Gilroy Shockers 12U girls fastpitch team is holding tryouts on consecutive Sundays, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9., at Christmas Hill Park ranch field in Gilroy.
All pitchers and catchers should report at 10 a.m. All other positions report at 11a.m.
